Job summary

AV is seeking an Infrastructure Manager to oversee a Windows/Linux hybrid environment and lead a team of analysts and engineers. The role focuses on unifying communications, messaging, and identity, while providing escalation support for the Service Desk under ITIL practices.

The incumbent will manage on-premises infrastructure components, coordinate with Azure and third-party providers, and optimize service delivery and cost control in a fast-paced enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• VMware and Azure certifications required or desirable.
• 12-15 years of experience with Windows and Linux-based OS configuration, automation, and management.
• 8-10 years of experience with automation scripting including PowerShell and other configuration-as-code tools.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Systems Administration/Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT Management or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• ITIL V4+ Foundation knowledge and operations.

Responsibilities

• People and team manager of team and responsibilities of its members
• Provide high quality, responsive and consistent resolutions to IT Incidents
• Server administration Windows and Linux deployment
• Managing the Infrastructure incident support queues activities on a day to day operational basis
• On-premises infrastructure: Active Directory, DNS, VMWare, firewalls, routing
• Identity and user management solutions provided by Azure or 3rd party
• Ownership and review of 3rd party product invoicing. Ensure that incurred costs match business expectations on services provided
• Follow-up and drive 3rd party product service level agreements to ensure services provided meet ongoing business requirements and contractual agreements with vendors
• Other duties as assigned
