Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to ensure DBT infrastructure systems run efficiently and to support platform development. The role focuses on unifying communications, messaging and identity for a seamless user experience, with ITIL-based escalation support.

The engineer will handle incident resolutions, manage Windows/Linux servers, and support on-premises AD/DNS/VMware environments, while leveraging Azure for identity management. This position requires U.S. ITAR compliance.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of Windows and Linux-based OS configuration, automation, and management.
• 5-7 years of automation scripting including PowerShell and other configuration as code tools
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Systems Administration/Engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in IT Management or related field or equivalent
• ITIL V4+ Foundation knowledge and operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, responsive and consistent resolutions to IT Incidents
• Server administration Windows and Linux deployment
• Managing the Infrastructure incident support queues activities on a day-to-day operational basis
• On-premises infrastructure: Active Directory, DNS, VMWare, firewalls, routing
• Identity and user management solutions provided by Azure or 3rd party
• Other duties as assigned
