JCB North America is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead administration, optimization, and security of a multi-platform IT environment. You will manage Windows Server, Linux/Unix, AD, virtualization, storage, and DR strategies to ensure reliability and scalability for enterprise operations.

Your role includes providing Tier III support, collaborating with vendors, and producing architecture documentation while operating in a fast-paced, on-site setting in San Antonio, TX.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure environments.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing data center, MDF/IDF, and infrastructure hardware environments.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration.
• Advanced experience supporting virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
• Strong understanding of networking, storage, backup, and disaster recovery technologies.
• Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and support Microsoft Windows Server and Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Manage Microsoft Active Directory environments, including Group Policy administration.
• Administer and maintain virtualized infrastructure platforms, including VMware and Hyper-V.
• Configure, manage, and support enterprise storage solutions and disk storage environments.
• Administer and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity and business continuity.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure performance across servers, storage, networking, and cloud environments.
• Provide technical leadership and infrastructure expertise for business and IT projects.
• Support and maintain network infrastructure, including Cisco Meraki network administration.
• Create, maintain, and update infrastructure architecture documentation, diagrams, standards, and operating procedures.
• Provide Tier III support for critical incidents, including participation in on-call support rotations and after-hours escalations.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure service and support expectations are met.
• Support MDF/IDF environments, including racking, stacking, hardware installations, inventory management, and environmental monitoring.
