Job summary

JCB North America seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead administration and optimization of our IT infrastructure. You will drive reliability, security, and performance across Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and storage environments.

The role requires deep expertise in AD, networking, backup, and disaster recovery, with the ability to guide projects, support on‑call rotations, and collaborate with vendors in a fast‑paced enterprise setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years of enterprise IT infrastructure experience.
Strong expertise in Windows Server administration, virtualization, networking, storage, and DR.
Ability to pass background checks and pre-employment tests as required by law.

Responsibilities

Administer and support Windows Server and Linux/Unix environments.
Manage Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
Administer virtualization platforms (VMware and Hyper‑V).
Configure and support enterprise storage solutions and disk storage environments.
Manage backup and disaster recovery to ensure data integrity and continuity.
Monitor and optimize performance across servers, storage, networking, and cloud.
Provide Tier III support for critical incidents and coordinate with vendors.
