Job summary

Rocket Loans is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer at the Senior Software Engineer I level. You will provision, deploy and operate cloud infrastructure, including Terraform modules, EKS clusters, Helm charts, Istio service-mesh, and CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, while applying security best practices.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure scalable, reliable delivery across environments, document decisions, participate in incident reviews, and contribute to tooling in

Qualifications

• Experience provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform preferred).
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm for packaging and deploying workloads.
• Experience with AWS and IAM policies, Secrets Manager, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provision and maintain cloud infra with Terraform modules and TypeScript tooling.
• Manage and evolve EKS clusters, Helm charts, and Istio config across environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) supporting trunk-based merges.
• Handle secrets management and least-privilege IAM across services and pipelines.
• Contribute to incident resolution, postmortems, and infrastructure documentation.
