Job summary

ZoomInfo Technologies LLC is seeking a seasoned DevOps/SRE engineer to design, provision, and manage cloud data services on Kubernetes-based platforms such as EKS and GKE. You will implement infrastructure as code with Terraform, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and deploy data services like Kinesis, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and BigQuery.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in a DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure role.
• Production experience with AWS and/or GCP data services (Kinesis, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, BigQuery).
• Hands-on experience managing containerized workloads on Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or self-managed).
• Strong Terraform and Git-based workflows experience.
• CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Argo CD, GitHub Actions.
• Python scripting for automation and tooling.
• Observability stacks: CloudWatch, Datadog; SRE principles in practice.
• Effective communicator with collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, provisioning, and management of data services on Kubernetes-based platforms (EKS & GKE).
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform for security, scalability, and cost awareness.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Argo CD, GitHub Actions) for automated testing and deployments.
• Deploy and support cloud-native data services (Kinesis, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, BigQuery).
• Leverage AI-powered tooling to accelerate script generation and incident investigations.
• Create automation scripts and tooling in Python to streamline DevOps workflows.
• Establish monitoring and logging with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Datadog; apply AI anomaly detection.
• Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews; adhere to SRE best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers to align infrastructure with application requirements.
• Document infrastructure, runbooks, and lessons learned for knowledge sharing.
