Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a hands-on Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management specialist to design and govern enterprise-scale automation.

You will build scalable pipelines and codify configurations across hybrid environments, collaborating with cloud, security, and engineering teams to ensure compliance and reliability. The role requires strong scripting skills, experience with Ansible, Salt, Chef, or Puppet, and a solid background in Linux/Windows administration, CI/CD integration, and

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing IaC solutions in large-scale enterprises.
• Strong expertise with configuration management platforms and automation tooling.
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows Server administration and OS automation.
• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD toolchains and Git.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and automation of cloud infra.
• Scripting abilities in Python, YAML, PowerShell, or Bash; problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and govern IaC and configuration management frameworks.
• Develop and maintain automation artifacts to enforce standards and drift control.
• Define desired state across servers, VMs, containers, and cloud resources.
• Evolve CM strategies for scalability, compliance, and continuity.
• Build scalable automation pipelines for provisioning, patching, and compliance.
• Collaborate with cloud, platform, security, and engineering teams on DevOps workflows.
• Establish automated compliance controls and reporting for audits.
• Troubleshoot CM platforms; mentor engineers on IaC methodologies.
