Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking an automation-focused Infrastructure Engineer to design and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across branch, data center, and cloud environments. The role emphasizes automation, scripting, and IaC to improve efficiency, reliability, and security.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Ansible, Python, Bash, Terraform, and PowerShell, plus networking fundamentals and cloud integration.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in enterprise network engineering or infrastructure operations.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing and switching.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure across branches, data centers, and cloud.
• Develop and maintain network automation scripts and playbooks to improve provisioning and compliance.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize routing, switching, firewall, and wireless infrastructure.
• Monitor performance, availability, and capacity; identify and resolve issues proactively.
