Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design and deploy CTI Database Platform services, develop IaC with Terraform and Ansible, and drive automation for reliable, scalable platforms.

You will collaborate with engineering and platform teams to promote DevOps practices, implement automation, and enhance database lifecycle management within PaaS pipelines. Strong Python and Bash scripting skills are required, with Linux knowledge and container basics a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer for enterprise-scale platforms and services.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code technologies.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing Ansible playbooks and automation.
• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD toolchains including Git (Bitbucket preferred), Jenkins, and Ansible Tower.
• 2+ years of experience in a DevOps culture and practices.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tooling.
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and deployment of CTI Database Platform services aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions, including Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks.
• Enable highly complex implementations through automation and reusable deployment patterns.
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to improve service reliability, resiliency, and efficiency.
• Promote DevOps best practices, automation-first thinking, and continuous improvement.
• Understand and implement database lifecycle management actions into PaaS IaC pipelines.
