Job summary

Writer is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to own reliability and performance across a high-traffic AI platform. You will drive incident response, design scalable multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and automate complex tasks with Python or Go.

You’ll work closely with product and security to deliver dependable AI-powered workflows. Hybrid role based in New York City or London, reporting to the Director of Engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or similar roles at high-growth product companies.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response, post-mortems, and RCA to improve architecture.
• Design scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure using Python or Go.
• Manage on-call rotations and reliability improvements with SLOs and error budgets.
• Collaborate with product, security, and engineering to ensure system reliability.
