WRITER in Seattle is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to build and operate scalable, reliable systems for our AI-powered platform. You will own the reliability, performance, and efficiency of core services and drive measurable improvements across on-call and incident response.

You'll work across AWS/GCP/Azure, use Terraform, Kubernetes, and automation in Python or Go, and collaborate with product, security, and platform teams to ship resilient infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure engineering at a high-growth product company.
• Experience running containerised production environments with Kubernetes.
• Hands-on with Terraform or Pulumi on major clouds (AWS preferred).
• Strong automation skills in Python or Go and AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability, performance, and efficiency of core services end-to-end.
• Lead incident response, post‑mortems, and RCA analysis.
• Design scalable, fault‑tolerant infrastructure across AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Automate across the stack and improve on‑call and runbooks.
