Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead consolidation across AD, M365, VMware, and storage environments for acquired companies. You will drive cross-domain trusts, tenant migrations, and security integrations while minimizing business disruption.

You will oversee network, endpoint, and server modernization efforts, ensuring policy compliance and data retention. This contract role is onsite in Menomonee Falls, WI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Infrastructure Architect.
• Proven success delivering complex infrastructure integrations and migrations.
• Expert knowledge of AD DS, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and hybrid identity environments.
• Hands-on experience with VMware, storage technologies, M365 administration, and Intune.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute Active Directory consolidation strategies for acquisitions.
• Lead tenant-to-tenant migrations in Microsoft 365 suite and related services.
• Plan migrations of VMware vSphere environments and decommission legacy storage.
• Establish secure connectivity, VPNs, VLANs, routing, and firewall integrations.
• Onboard endpoints, ensure policy compliance, and manage server modernization.
• Decommission legacy systems following migrations and validate data retention.
