Job summary

BKF is seeking a Senior M&A Technology Integration Engineer to lead the technical integration of acquired companies, owning architecture, migration strategy, risk, and execution standards across BKF's environment.

The role is a senior hands-on IC with responsibilities to guide internal engineers, consultants, and vendors, coordinating with BKF teams and partners. A deep Microsoft cloud background and enterprise integration experience are required for success.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365, identity, or enterprise technology integration.
• Significant hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Experience designing or executing Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations.
• Strong PowerShell, automation, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills.
• Experience providing technical direction to internal engineers, consultants, vendors, or technical project teams.
• Ability to translate business objectives into realistic technical plans and communicate technical risk to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to support planned after-hours or weekend migrations.
• Ability to travel to BKF and acquired-company locations when needed.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment; San Francisco Bay Area location preferred.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.
• Experience with Intune, Windows Autopilot, Box, Box Shuttle, Azure, DNS, networking, and enterprise security controls.
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent integration projects.
• Relevant Microsoft, Azure, or security certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and due diligence for acquisitions, refining requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Assess acquired-company technology licenses, subscriptions, and contracts; identify gaps and dependencies.
• Develop integration architecture, migration plans, schedules, cutover procedures, and rollback strategies.
• Serve as the technical authority for Microsoft 365 tenant integrations (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive).
• Provide technical direction to internal engineers, consultants, vendors, or project teams during migrations.
• Coordinate SharePoint migrations and OneDrive-to-Box migrations.
• Collaborate with Box Consulting on file-system and Box migration design and execution.
• Coordinate with Endpoint Deployment & Logistics to align identity, apps, security, and data readiness.
• Create and maintain integration standards, playbooks, scripts, and documentation.
• Ensure steady-state ownership transitions to BKF operations after hyper-care.
