Job summary

BKF Engineers seeks a Senior M&A Technology Integration Engineer to lead the technical integration of acquired companies into BKF's cloud and infrastructure environment.

You will own architecture, migration strategy, risk management, and execution standards, partnering with BKF teams and external vendors. The role requires deep Microsoft 365 expertise, strong scripting, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent integrations.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365, identity, or enterprise technology integration.
• Significant hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Experience designing or executing Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations.
• Strong PowerShell, automation, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to translate business objectives into realistic technical plans and communicate technical risk to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Ability to travel to BKF and acquired-company locations when needed.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment; San Francisco Bay Area location preferred.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.
• Experience with Intune, Windows Autopilot, Box, Box Shuttle, Azure, DNS, networking, and enterprise security controls.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical discovery and due diligence with external partners; refine requirements.
• Assess acquired-company technology licenses, subscriptions, contracts, and gaps; support harmonization.
• Develop integration architecture, migration plans, schedules, cutover plans, and rollback procedures.
• Serve as technical authority for Microsoft 365 tenant integrations (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Provide direction to internal engineers, consultants, vendors on migrations and integration work.
• Coordinate SharePoint migrations and OneDrive-to-Box migrations.
• Work with Box Consulting on file-system and Box migration design and execution.
• Align identity, applications, security, and data readiness with laptop deployment.
• Coordinate dependencies with Cloud Ops, Security, Finance, HR, GIS, CAD, and vendors.
• Provide hands-on engineering, scripting, automation, and cutover support.
• Identify risks and communicate timelines to leadership.
• Create and maintain integration standards, playbooks, scripts, and handoff procedures.
• Ensure steady-state ownership transitions to BKF operations.
