Job summary

Chainalysis seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for the Government Systems team to lead deployment platform and operational infrastructure delivering Reactor to government customers. You will shape Terraform modules, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and drive GitOps with Flux CD in a security-conscious environment.

You'll partner with product teams, own the security posture, and mentor other engineers while advancing reliability and scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS.

Qualifications

• Deep experience operating Kubernetes in production at scale.
• Expert-level proficiency with Terraform for multi-environment provisioning.
• Strong Linux systems administration (RHEL-like).
• Extensive experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda).
• Operational mindset focused on reliability and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of Kubernetes clusters across environments.
• Architect and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform) for AWS.
• Own CI/CD platform end-to-end (GitHub Actions) for reliable releases.
• Drive GitOps delivery strategy using Flux CD and Helm/Kustomize.
• Define container image lifecycle policies across OCI registries.
• Identify and eliminate toil through automation of provisioning and deployment.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices.
• Be a technical point of contact for integrating product teams into the deployment pipeline.
• Own the security posture of the deployment platform and manage secrets and RBAC.
• Mentor engineers through reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
