Job summary

Chainalysis is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for the Government Systems team to lead deployment infrastructure and the Reactor platform for government and high-security customers.

You will own Kubernetes clusters, Terraform provisioning, and CI/CD pipelines, while ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable deployments across environments. This role emphasizes ownership, mentorship, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Deep experience operating Kubernetes in production at scale.
• Expert-level proficiency with Terraform for cloud infrastructure.
• Strong Linux systems administration and networking skills.
• Extensive experience designing CI/CD pipelines with reliability.
• AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and Lambda.
• A proactive, ownership-driven approach to reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of Kubernetes clusters across environments.
• Architect infrastructure as code to provision AWS environments.
• Own the CI/CD platform end-to-end and improve release flows.
• Drive GitOps delivery with Flux CD and Kubernetes tooling.
• Define image lifecycle policies and secure deployment practices.
• Automate provisioning and reduce operational toil.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with product teams on deployments.
• Maintain security posture, secrets, RBAC, and compliance requirements.
