Hex Technologies Inc. is seeking a senior infrastructure engineer to own and deliver critical platform projects end-to-end. You will shape CI/CD, stack lifecycle, and PostgreSQL at scale, working across multi-tenant and single-tenant environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating production infrastructure, including on-call.
• You make the people around you better, whether or not you've had the title.
• Strong Kubernetes operations: you can reason about scheduling, networking, and failure modes, not just apply manifests.
• Solid AWS fundamentals (EKS, RDS, VPC networking, IAM)
• Infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform
• Comfortable writing and reading enough application code to change a pipeline, a controller, or a service
• You can take a vague, long-standing problem and turn it into something shippable without waiting to be told how
• You write clearly, design docs and runbooks that engineers outside infra can follow

Responsibilities

• CI/CD: optimize for speed, cost, and flexibility.
• Stack lifecycle: setup/teardown for single-tenant stacks; reduce manual work.
• Postgres at scale: improve performance, migrations, capacity for multi-tenant production DB.
• Cost: increase visibility and reduce infrastructure spend.
• Security posture: workload/container isolation and compliance as we move upmarket.
• Platform features: private connectivity, customer-defined networking, and easier single-tenant deployments.
