EnDepth seeks a Senior Kubernetes Platform Systems Engineer to support U.S. Government programs in Laurel, MD.

You will administer, automate, secure, monitor, and maintain Kubernetes platform infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments for mission-critical systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is desired.
• An additional five years of experience may substitute for the degree.
• Twenty years of Systems Engineering experience in similar scope programs.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize a highly available Kubernetes platform.
• Translate operational requirements into scalable, reliable platform solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain hardened container images and deployment templates.
• Develop, automate, and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, patching, and security hardening.
• Plan upgrades and infrastructure enhancements with minimal impact.
• Monitor health, performance, and availability of Kubernetes clusters.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and implement long-term fixes.
• Configure monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.
• Maintain development/test environments mirroring production.
