Accenture Federal Services is seeking a senior infrastructure/DevOps engineer to own Terraform for a multi-account AWS estate and operate production EKS clusters. You will extend our GitOps delivery model (ArgoCD) and drive secure, compliant CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

The role mentors others and helps scale a federal multi-account landing zone. The position emphasizes deep AWS/Kubernetes expertise, policy-as-code, and NIST-based security controls in a FISMA context.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years in infrastructure / platform / DevOps with senior ownership.
• Deep, hands-on Terraform — reusable modules, remote state, drift control.
• Strong AWS depth: VPC, IAM, EKS, RDS/Aurora, S3, CloudFront, Secrets.
• Kubernetes / EKS at production scale with workload identity and autoscaling.
• GitOps experience (ArgoCD or Flux) and CI/CD pipeline engineering (GitLab CI).
• DevSecOps in practice: security scanning, IaC, secrets, policy-as-code.
• Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks — FISMA / NIST RMF.

Aufgaben

• Own Terraform for a multi-environment, multi-account AWS estate — modules, state, and drift control.
• Operate Amazon EKS clusters: networking, autoscaling, add-ons, workload identity, lifecycle.
• Run and extend our GitOps model (ArgoCD) where a merge is a deployment and gates matter.
• Build and harden CI/CD pipelines in GitLab: security scanning, image signing, evidence trails.
• Advance security and compliance posture toward NIST 800-53 and ATO readiness.
• Design migration to a federal multi-account landing zone: identity and cross-account networking.
• Mentor mid and junior engineers, raise the bar on change control and evidence-based engineering.
