Job summary

Amentum seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support SSP program offices within the DoD. The System ISSO will focus on non-enterprise information systems for large PORs and several S&T programs, providing direct onsite support to the Program Office Technical Lead at NSWC Crane, with regular travel to SPHQ or field activities.

Responsibilities include establishing accreditation, maintaining cybersecurity posture, and developing security documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, CE or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Must have an active US Government TS clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Travel 40% or more for this role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems are accredited and security procedures are implemented.
• Maintain residual cybersecurity risk within approved levels.
• Develop and update Cybersecurity documentation and security packages.
• Implement RMF controls for systems under IATT and prepare authorization packages.
• Coordinate incident response plans and contingency testing with stakeholders.
• Contribute to DoD Acquisition process in OQE and related outputs.
