Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Sr. Information System Security Officer to support SSP Program Offices and DoW systems.

The ISSO will ensure appropriate cybersecurity posture, define system security objectives, and assist in creating the security authorization package for large PORs and multiple S&T programs. Responsibilities include maintaining accreditation, implementing RMF controls, producing SSP documentation, and coordinating with SSP stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
• Ability to collaborate with large and highly competent technical teams.
• Strategic high-level thinking.
• Ability/experience with planning an initiative involving large-scale, networked systems.
• Must obtain and maintain TS/CNWDI US Government Clearance; interim Secret clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems are accredited and SOPs include required security procedures.
• Maintain operational cybersecurity posture within accepted residual risk levels.
• Develop and maintain security authorization packages.
• Implement SSP responses to DoW IAVAs and IAVBs.
• Initiate investigations for security incidents and implement protective measures.
• Coordinate with URs and branch ISSM on cybersecurity incidents.
• Develop incident response and contingency plans and test annually.
• Participate in engineering reviews for systems under their cognizance.
• Develop System Security Plans detailing security controls.
