Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Information System Security Officer to support the Homeland Enterprise IT Secure Services under the DHS Insider Threat Program. You will help with security accreditation, sustainment, and risk management using RMF, ATO/ATC/IATT processes.

The role involves coordinating vulnerability scans, developing test plans, and delivering formal reports and briefings to government stakeholders. This is an on-site position based in Virginia with established DHS collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 6+ years
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experienced at developing technical documents, analyses, and reports
• Experienced with presenting briefings to senior customer management and stakeholders
• Ability to obtain DHS EOD SCI

Responsibilities

• Provide support for security engineering and deployment of security technology for external threat and insider threat operations
• Coordinate weekly vulnerability scans and ensure gov't requests acknowledged promptly
• Define scope, develop test plans, obtain government approval, analyze results, and brief findings
• Maintain BOE documentation for the contract and ensure ATO/ATC/IATT status is tracked
• Prepare monthly analysis reports of scan results and address coverage issues with government
