Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Hunt Analyst to support, sustain, design, and evolve the ITP data backbone for DHS. You will hunt insider threats, analyze threat indicators, and coordinate across enterprise to ensure timely responses.

The role requires TS/SCI eligibility, US citizenship, and strong analytical and briefing skills. The ideal candidate brings 4–8 years in insider threat or related analytics, experience with UAM platforms, and the ability to work independently to promote program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4–8 years of insider threat experience or related background.
• 4+ years knowledge of the intelligence cycle, analytic techniques, systems, processes, and organizations.
• 4+ years knowledge of Threat Assessment & Mitigation Strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal briefing skills for diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of current domestic/international threats to U.S. national security.
• Ability to network with security stakeholders to enable program usage.
• Independent worker with initiative to promote program goals.
• Experience with UAM solutions and cybersecurity toolsets.
• Must be a US Citizen with TS/SCI eligibility and ability to obtain DHS EOD SCI and a CI Poly.

Responsibilities

• Examine, analyze, and search insider threat data to identify trends and insights.
• Provide analytical support for UAM/UEBA tool operations.
• Monitor UAM platform and identify requirements; coordinate for timely responses.
• Research UAM patterns related to insider threat risks to DHS.
• Hunt for insider threat indicators using behavioral analytics.
• Conduct continuous hunt operations across data sources and networks.
• Identify mitigation strategies to reduce insider threat risk.
• Baseline user activity with UEBA and detect deviations.
• Respond to high-priority UAM alerts within 4 hours during business hours.
