Job summary

RealmOne in Columbia, MD seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer to lead information assurance efforts for classified processing. You will develop, enforce, and coordinate security policies, standards, and procedures across programs, systems, and enclaves to strengthen our security posture.

The role requires DoD/DISA-style experience, DoD 8570 IAM Level II/IAT III, active clearance, and extensive ISSO background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in CS/Info Assurance/Info Security or related discipline with 12+ years of related experience
• Direct ISSO experience: 10+ years in IC/DoD programs
• Familiar with customer security tools, repositories, playbooks and guidelines
• Knowledgeable about applicable frameworks, regulations, standards, policies and procedures
• Operational understanding of servers, IA tech, internetworking protocols and services

Responsibilities

• Enhance the system security posture by enforcing policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Oversee security operations for information systems and evaluate solutions for classified processing.
• Manage configuration and system integrity via CM for security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans and risk assessment documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing proactive security measures.
• Maintain operational security posture and support day-to-day security operations.
• Evaluate security solutions to meet requirements for processing classified information.
• Perform vulnerability and risk assessments to support certification and accreditation.
• Prepare SSPs, RA reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs.
• Assist with RMF and DoD risk management processes.
