Job summary

SCCI is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support Cybersecurity for a DoD weapons system portfolio. The role focuses on RMF A&A processes, security controls, and STIG compliance to ensure secure, mission-ready systems.

The position is based in Dahlgren, VA, requiring US citizenship and the ability to obtain an active Secret clearance. You will work with a team to implement security controls, manage ATO/IATT packages in eMASS, and maintain RMF documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have active or ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years in IT Management or equivalent.
• Experience with DoD RMF processes and A&A.
• Experience developing RMF accreditation packages and with US Military RMF is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated A&A support services as defined in the RMF.
• Perform validation assessments of implemented controls and maintain RMF documentation.
• Assist in developing or reviewing accreditation documentation (security plan, assessment plan, diagrams).
• Assist in developing IT strategic plans, contingency plans, incident response plans, and SOPs.
• Manage the ATO/IATT package process through eMASS.
• Oversee IAVM planning, risk assessments, and POA&M creation with stakeholders.
• Review and verify STIGs and vulnerability scans (Tenable/Nessus/ACAS).
• Participate in meetings such as the Configuration Control Board.
• Adapt to changing technologies and requirements, working with government and contractors.
