Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to safeguard information systems and lead security operations on-site in the Maryland corridor. The role requires a TS/SCI with Poly clearance, 3+ years of related experience, and DoD 8570 IAT Level I or higher certification.

The successful candidate will implement and monitor security controls across networks and data, ensuring compliance and rapid incident response.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience
• US Citizenship required
• Security clearance TS/SCI with Poly
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures to protect information systems assets and prevent unauthorized access or destruction
• Monitors IDS to identify security issues for remediation
• Conducts audits to ensure secure operation and policy compliance
• Develops, tests, and operates firewalls, IDS, antivirus, and deployment tools
• Evaluates and implements new security software or devices
• Implements security policies for data, software, hardware, and telecommunications
• Performs system audits and vulnerability assessments including access controls
• Communicates alerts to agencies regarding intrusions and compromises
