Influential in Chicago is seeking an Associate Director to lead complex influencer marketing programs for a flagship financial services client. This role serves as the day-to-day client lead, managing campaign execution across strategy, creator selection, content development, production timelines, live event activations, reporting, and cross-functional coordination.

This role requires someone who can move between strategic thinking and operational detail with ease.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in an agency, marketing-tech, media, or influencer marketing environment.
• Experience leading complex influencer, social, or integrated campaigns from kickoff through reporting.
• Proven ability to manage tight production timelines and high-volume creator deliverables.
• Experience building campaign timelines, trackers, approvals, and progress updates.
• Experience overseeing shoots and live events on-site with clients and key stakeholders.
• Experience with data and analytics to inform planning, performance reporting, and optimization.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills in a fast-paced, client-facing setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-faceted influencer marketing campaigns for a flagship financial services client.
• Serve as the day-to-day client lead, driving communication, alignment, and flawless execution.
• Own campaign timelines from kickoff through wrap, including production schedules and milestones.
• Partner with the client, IAT, and internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns meet brand objectives.
• Monitor creator trends, platform shifts, and cultural conversations to inform strategy.
• Oversee production and live event activations, including shoot planning and on-site coordination.
• Mentor account managers and activation team members to drive collaboration and excellence.
• Develop tools, trackers, timelines, and playbooks to strengthen campaign execution.
• Manage ongoing client and campaign status updates, risks, and progress reporting.
