Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8 years of relevant experience; Master's with 6 years.
• Experience in development of advanced sensors for aerospace/defense.
• Experience leading a technical development or production team.
• Understanding of Systems Engineering and PM tools (DOORS, MS Project).
• Experience with cost estimates / BOEs and EO about cost processes.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance; on-site in Woodland Hills, CA.

Aufgaben

• Manage a team of Sensor Engineers supporting design, development, and transition to production of inertial navigation systems.
• Define best practices for design of inertial sensor types and improve processes.
• Coordinate staffing with program leads to ensure proper skill mix.
• Provide guidance on technical and cost proposals; mentor reports and plan career development.
• Perform manager activities including performance reviews, timecard approvals, and HR collaboration.
