Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an Associate Director, Industry Marketing to lead the Industry Marketing team and translate industry priorities into a focused marketing agenda that strengthens the firm's relevance with priority buyers.

You will partner with Heads of Industry and service line leaders to embed insights, content, and campaigns across channels, owning a portfolio of priority industry initiatives and driving measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in professional services or consultative environments.
• Experience leading and developing marketing professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and business leaders.
• Strong strategic planning, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent content, messaging, and editorial leadership capabilities.
• Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns and measurable business outcomes.
• Strong proficiency in AI-enabled marketing tools and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Industry Marketing team members.
• Establish performance expectations, operating rhythms, and quality standards.
• Ensure team priorities align with business priorities and available resources.
• Drive accountability for outcomes, not just activity.
• Build team capabilities in industry expertise, content development, campaign activation, stakeholder management, and AI-enabled ways of working.
• Own portfolio prioritization and workload allocation across the team.
• Coordinate activities across marketing, industry, and enablement functions.
• Maintain visibility into plans, capacity, and outcomes through ClickUp.
• Continuously improve processes, templates, and ways of working.
• Define success measures tied to business outcomes.
• Evaluate performance across campaigns, content, events, and industry initiatives.
• Use performance insights to optimize investments and priorities.
• Communicate the team's impact through concise, business-focused reporting.
• Promote AI adoption as a core capability of the Industry Marketing function.
