Job summary

Arcadis’ Industrial Water Treatment and Optimization (IWTO) team seeks an experienced Industrial Water Wastewater Process Engineer with 7+ years of consulting engineering experience to contribute to a growing portfolio of industrial water and wastewater design projects.

The role includes leading process design on industrial water/wastewater projects, field data collection, mentorship to junior staff, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams from study through commissioning and operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in the industrial water/wastewater field.

Responsibilities

• Function as the process engineer on industrial water/wastewater projects.
• Assist in developing process design drawings, specifications, calculations, plans and other technical deliverables.
• Field work including surveys/data gathering, QA/QC, inspections, bench- and pilot-scale testing at client sites or in our lab.
• Assist with system commissioning and startup, including training plant staff.
• Prepare and present to clients and at professional meetings.
• Manage projects to meet client and Arcadis’ expectations.
• Travel up to 25% as needed for meetings and site visits.
