Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Industrial Water Wastewater Process Engineer with 7+ years of consulting engineering experience to contribute to our expanding portfolio of industrial water and wastewater projects. You will design and optimize treatment processes, mentor junior staff, and lead technical deliverables from study through operation.

This hybrid role supports client facilities nationwide with some international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering required.
• 7+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in the industrial water/wastewater field.
• Master’s degree and PE registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the process engineer on industrial water/wastewater projects.
• Apply physical/chemical treatment processes and membrane technologies.
• Mentor junior staff and delegate calculations/drawings as needed.
• Prepare process design drawings, specs, calculations, and reports.
• Perform field work including surveys, QA/QC, and bench-/pilot-scale testing.
• Assist with commissioning, start-up, and operator training.
• Deliver client presentations and participate in meetings.
• Travel up to 25% for site visits and project coordination.
