Job summary

Arcadis IWTO team seeks an experienced Industrial Water/Wastewater Process Engineer (7+ years) to lead design and optimization of industrial treatment systems in the United States. This hybrid role supports client facilities with field work, calculations, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will prepare drawings, specs, P&IDs, and reports, mentor junior engineers, and participate in commissioning, startup, and operations support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering
• 7+ years of progressively increased responsibility in the industrial water/wastewater field
• Master’s degree in engineering or related field with focus on wastewater treatment (preferred)
• Professional engineer registration in one or more states (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Prepare process design drawings, specifications, calculations, plans and other technical deliverables for industrial water projects
• Field work including surveys/data gathering, QA inspections, bench- and pilot-scale testing
• Assist with system commissioning and startup, including training plant staff
• Prepare and present to clients and at professional meetings
• Travel as needed for site visits (up to 25%) and project coordination
