Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Industrial Water Wastewater Process Engineer / Design Manager to contribute to our expanding portfolio of industrial water and wastewater projects. You will apply knowledge in process engineering, client services, and design management to deliver solutions.

This hybrid role supports client facilities across the United States, with travel up to 25% and preferred locations including major cities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of industrial wastewater experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer registration in one or more states.
• Valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Function as the process engineer on industrial water/wastewater projects.
• Lead design and evaluation of treatment processes.
• Mentor mid-level and junior staff.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Support business development and prepare proposals.
• Lead project delivery from study to commissioning.
• Travel up to 25% for client meetings/site visits.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering

Master’s degree or PhD in environmental or chemical engineering
