Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Industrial Water Wastewater Process Engineer with 7+ years of consulting engineering to contribute to our industrial water and wastewater design projects. This hybrid role supports client facilities across the United States, with travel up to 25% and potential international assignments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
7+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in the industrial water/wastewater field.
Experience designing water and wastewater projects and preparing construction documents (mechanical drawings, P&IDs, specs, narratives, O&M manuals).

Responsibilities

Function as the process engineer on industrial water/wastewater projects.
Apply physical/chemical treatment processes (primary, biological, membrane, adsorption, filtration, disinfection, evaporation, crystallization).
Mentor junior staff and delegate calculations/drawings.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams through study, design, construction, startup, commissioning, and O&M.
