Job summary

RSI is seeking a Senior Industrial Technical & Safety Training Specialist to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate high-impact safety training programs in a DOE/DOT-regulated setting. The role combines instructional design, dynamic classroom and field facilitation, and hands-on proficiency with heavy machinery and mechanical systems.

You will manage LMS records, certifications, and compliance reporting, and mentor junior staff while driving continuous program improvements and ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in safety or related field with strong academic record.
• 8–10 years in developing and delivering technical/industrial safety training.
• Experience in highly regulated DOE/DOD environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deliver and evaluate high-impact safety training programs.
• Deliver hands-on field training for heavy equipment and mechanical systems.
• Administer LMS, track certifications and audits for compliance.
• Translate SOPs and hazard analyses into engaging training materials.
• Lead regulatory alignment with OSHA, DOE, DOT frameworks.
• Coach junior staff and drive continuous program improvement.
