Job summary

Amazon's North America Operations Real Estate Team seeks a Senior Development Manager to lead acquisition and development of industrial real estate for the NACF network across North America. You will drive end-to-end transaction execution from site identification through lease or purchase, balancing strategic objectives with hands-on execution.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial transactions experience.
• 5+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional projects.
• Experience in industrial real estate, leases, entitlements, zoning and permitting.
• Experience managing 6+ mid- to large-scale projects (5M+ to 10M+).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end transaction execution for site acquisitions, including sourcing, financial analysis, deal structuring, leases and purchases.
• Conduct due diligence on sites ensuring alignment with fulfillment requirements.
• Develop a robust pipeline of real estate opportunities years ahead of capacity needs.
• Build financial models and conduct investment evaluations for decision making.
• Negotiate leases, purchase agreements, and development agreements with multiple parties.
• Collaborate with Operations, Design, Pre-Construction, Construction, Finance, Legal, and Asset Management to deliver projects.
