Job summary
McCLARIN Composites seeks a Senior Industrial & Process Engineer to drive operational excellence across molding disciplines (open FRP, RIM, and infusion) in Hanover, PA. You will lead high-impact process improvements, safeguard safety and quality, and partner on design for manufacture with customers and peers.
The role emphasizes MTM/MOST analysis, tooling lifecycle management, and SMED-driven cycle-time reductions, with opportunities for career growth in a well‑established manufacturing
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Plastics/Tool Engineering or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Mold Cycle Time & Process Optimization across open FRP, RIM clamps, and resin infusion.
- Conduct MTM/MOST labor/time studies on manual layup, vacuum bagging, demolding.
- Manage tooling lifecycle from design release to maintenance and preservation.
- Lead SMED workshops to reduce changeover times for RIM clamps and infusion tools.
- Support New Product Development with PFMEA and DFM actions.
- Drive Lean & Six Sigma culture through SQDC huddles and training.
