Job summary

ST Engineering MRAS is seeking a Materials & Process (M&P) Manager to lead a diverse team supporting production composites, materials engineering, and R&D/demonstrator development. You will guide material and process robustness across product lifecycles, collaborating with Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and external partners.

The role demands strong leadership, experience with composites, and the ability to align R&D with manufacturing readiness while driving cost-effective processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in materials engineering, composite engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related field.
• Experience with composite material systems, testing, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong leadership experience including mentoring or managing engineering staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Materials & Process Engineers supporting production programs and R&D/demonstrator development.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and coach engineers; foster cross-functional collaboration.
• Prioritize workload across production support, qualification/approval tasks, and R&D projects.
