Job summary

ST Engineering MRAS in Maryland seeks a Senior Manufacturing / Process Engineer to own manufacturing processes for carbon fiber reinforced structures, bridging design engineering and production operations. You will lead technical development and coordinate with executives and operators on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include developing bonding and inspection tooling, evaluating manufacturability, costing automation, and driving productivity through process improvements and layout planning,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 10+ years in manufacturing or related engineering field.
• Proficiency in CATIA 3D modeling software.
• This position involves export‑controlled technology requiring U.S. Person status.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with engineering specifications, processes, and procedures for carbon fiber reinforced composites.
• Develop and maintain bonding, repair, and inspection tooling and work instructions.
• Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing, including evaluating manufacturability and cost estimates.
• Lead process improvement, driving labor hour and cycle reductions and productivity.
• Collaborate with suppliers to troubleshoot quality and delivery issues.
• Provide production troubleshooting support to hourly and salary staff.
