Job summary

ST Engineering MRAS is seeking a Senior Manufacturing/Process Engineer to develop new composite structures and enhance existing ones in the bonding area. You will own assigned processes, interact with executive leadership and operators on the production floor, and drive cost reductions and productivity improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of manufacturing or engineering experience in composite structures.
• Proficiency in CATIA 3D modeling software.
• This position involves export-controlled technology; U.S. Person status or export authorization required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with engineering specifications, processes, and procedures for carbon fiber reinforced composites.
• Develop and maintain bonding and inspection tooling; lead new and revised tooling projects.
• Provide production troubleshooting support and daily direction to hourly and salary staff; drive productivity improvements.
• Evaluate manufacturability of design concepts and provide cost estimates/ROI for automation opportunities.
• Support introduction of new products into manufacturing and participate in business reviews.
