AECOM seeks a Senior Industrial Mechanical Engineer to lead design of specialty gas, bulk gas and chemical distribution systems for Advanced Manufacturing. You will be the technical expert on hazardous materials and UHP systems, collaborating with client facilities, EHS and tool teams from concept through turnover.

The role involves travel to client sites, mentoring engineers, and coordinating with HVAC, fire protection, and controls teams across semiconductor, battery, energy and defense

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 24 months.
• Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D and P&ID development.
• Experience with NFPA 55, NFPA 400, ASME B31.3, IFC hazardous materials provisions and CGA standards.

Responsabilités

• Design bulk chemical distribution for acids, bases, solvents, CMP slurry and battery electrolyte.
• Coordinate toxic gas monitoring, emergency shutdown and exhaust abatement with HVAC, fire protection and controls.
• Develop P&IDs, utility matrices, tool hookup and POC design, and hydraulic calculations.
• Support construction: submittals, RFIs, pressure and leak testing, commissioning and turnover.
• Serve as client-facing technical lead in workshops and pursuits.
