Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for our Dallas, TX operations. This electro-mechanical position supports manufacturing, repairs equipment, and implements preventative maintenance to keep lines running efficiently.

You will diagnose complex issues, perform setup changes, troubleshoot PLCs, and train Level I mechanics while ensuring safety and quality standards are met in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred in a related field.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Willing to standby and work overtime as needed.
• Ability to train Level I technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical problems in equipment.
• Set up equipment with recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and maintain mechanical components.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose electrical control circuits and field devices.
• Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs and drives.
• Enter work in the computer-based maintenance system.
• Monitor spare parts usage and place orders.
• Adjust equipment based on SPC data with QA.
• Train Level I technicians on tasks and skills.
