Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, a leading exterior building products manufacturer, is hiring a 2nd shift maintenance technician in Dallas, TX. You will diagnose and repair electro-mechanical problems, adjust equipment parameters, and maintain safety standards on a fast-paced line.

Responsibilities include PLC troubleshooting, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, preventive maintenance, and CMMS data entry. Candidates should have an associate degree or related experience and be ready for standby and

Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
7-10 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Familiarity with Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures and safety
Proficient in Word, Excel; CMMS experience preferred.
Ability to train technicians and read blueprints/schematics.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical problems on manufacturing equipment.
Perform setup changes and control adjustments on equipment.
Repair and maintain mechanical components to keep equipment in top condition.
Understand electrical principles including voltage, current, resistance, and control circuits.
Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs and repair related issues.
Add new electrical circuits, controls, and relocate machines as needed.
Maintain pneumatic systems and perform preventive maintenance tasks.
Enter work completed into the CMMS and monitor spares usage.
Assist QA with process improvement and data analysis.
Train technicians in complex tasks and supervise direct reports.
