Job summary

Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Technician IV - Electrical for its industrial maintenance team in Utica, NY. The role focuses on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and responding to work orders across facilities equipment and systems, including conveyors, R/O systems, cranes, and HVAC.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with the ability to work at heights and operate forklifts and aerial lifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work safely around 480V 3-phase electrical power circuits and operate lifts.
• Experience with conveyors, R/O systems, cranes, pumps, motors, HVAC systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair lighting, conveyors, R/O systems, and overhead cranes.
• Maintain and repair HVAC and ventilation equipment, pumps, motors, and electrical systems.
• Safely operate forklifts and aerial lifts; follow safety procedures and LOTO protocols.
• Document PMs and repairs in CMMS.
