Job summary

CMC is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures, and to keep all plant equipment and facilities in optimal condition. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and repair plant equipment as needed.

The role requires the ability to read technical manuals, strong problem solving, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at our Cullman, AL site.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Intermediate mathematics skills.
• Must work well independently with little direction.
• Quick thinker / strategic planner / flexible / problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures.
• Ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working condition.
• Identify / troubleshoot electrical faults in equipment and building as well as mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic problems.
• Repair plant equipment (steel forms, machinery, and building).
