Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician (MT1/MT2) to perform preventative and urgent maintenance on production machinery in our North Carolina facility. You will diagnose electronics, electrical, mechanical systems, and lead improvement projects.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a multi-craft industrial technician.
Champion safety efforts plant wide.
Technical certification (or demonstrated equivalent) required.
Proven advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems maintenance.
Demonstrated advanced troubleshooting skills.
Considered an expert in industrial field; electrical, fabrication, machining, etc.
Effective leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Effectively perform duties of MT 1 and 2 job descriptions.
Function as a Lead or currently filling the role.
Determine causes and sources of existing and potential electrical and electronic problems.
Lead projects from Cap Ex and CI perspectives.
Monitor and evaluate current or potential problems with action plans.
Create and maintain preventative maintenance procedures via PMO activities.
Perform diagnostics and repair to PLCs and related devices.
Provide solutions and estimate costs/timelines for breakdowns/improvements.
Escalate machine breakdowns if not resolved within the timeline.
Perform additional facilities-related duties as assigned by the Facilities and Maintenance Manager.
