Job summary

Colonial Group in Salisbury, NC seeks a Machine Maintenance Technician I/II to maintain and repair a variety of industrial equipment. The role covers preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring machine operations meet quality standards.

The position requires 5 years of related maintenance experience, the ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams, and a solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.
• Read blueprints, electrical diagrams and operation manuals.
• Understands the principals of 5s and lean manufacturing.
• Ability to identify OSHA safety violations.
• Welding and/or fabrication skills and/or experience preferred.
• Must furnish own tools.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair on a range of equipment including thermoforming machines, CNC mills, and industrial vehicles.
• Perform basic welding; read electrical diagrams and operation manuals; install/modify electrical systems; conduct parts research and inventory.
• Ensure machine operations and quality inspections.
