Job summary

Butterball is hiring a multi-craft Maintenance/IMT in North Carolina to support our food-processing plants. You will perform complex repairs across electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems to keep lines running efficiently.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting with diagnostic tools, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting production teams. Candidates should have 2+ years in maintenance and a relevant diploma or certificate, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance experience in at least one discipline
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Industrial Maintenance certificate/ diploma or similar area strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform complex tasks involving electrical, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication to keep equipment and processes operating.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment using diagnostic tools (ladder logic, volt meters, etc.).
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks from lubrication to blade changes.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment to support food safety initiatives.
• Provide training to operators and IMTs on preventive maintenance procedures.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and work orders for duties.
• Suggest process improvements to increase uptime and reliability.
