Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Maintenance Technician MT1 to perform preventative and urgent maintenance on production machinery and equipment. Tools required from candidate.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years as a multi-craft industrial technician, knows mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and can read blueprints and troubleshoot with PLCs. Lifting up to 50 lbs and flexible hours including weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience as a multi-craft industrial technician.
• Proven knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Effectively perform the duties associated with the MT 1 job description.
• Prioritize downtime issues to meet production needs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Perform intermediate electrical duties (minor troubleshooting, starters, sensors, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment with timing and programmable logic controls (PLCs).
• Communicate with all departments and attend on-site meetings as required.
• Assist with installation of new equipment.
• Perform additional duties including facilities tasks and special projects as assigned by the Facilities and Maintenance Manager.
