True North Consultants, Inc. seeks an experienced Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician for a fast-paced food processing plant in Blue Island, IL.

The role is on-site, offering a comprehensive benefits package and a pay range of $40.00–$65.00 per hour, with 1st or 2nd shift options. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, perform MIG/STICK welding, and coordinate with the maintenance team to keep critical equipment running smoothly across three

Formación

• Electrical experience with 480V three-phase systems.
• Industrial plant mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Welding experience MIG/STICK preferred.
• SCADA/PLC/VFD exposure is a plus.
• CMMS experience preferred.
• OSHA/LOTO knowledge required.
• Comfortable in a hot environment without AC.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain mechanical and electrical systems across a three-shift plant.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Weld, fabricate, and rig as needed.
• Install and service pumps, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and tanks.
• Use SCADA, PLCs, VFDs, sensors to troubleshoot faults.
• Complete PM work in CMMS and keep records accurate.
• Enforce LOTO, confined spaces, hot work, OSHA rules.
• Assist maintenance manager with planning and prioritization.
• Be the reliable on-call person for breaks.
